# Black Rooster Audio

> Black Rooster Audio builds audio plug-ins for recording, mixing and mastering,
> in AAX, VST, VST3 and AU for Windows and macOS. Most of the catalogue emulates
> vintage analogue hardware: opto, FET, VCA and vari-mu compressors, passive
> equalisers, plate and spring reverbs, tape echo and saturation, console preamps
> and channel strips. Founded 2012 in Gotha, Germany, by André Kirchner and
> Reimund Dratwa. Plug-ins are sold directly and through distribution.
